In the Process Industry welded structures for refineries, LNG terminals/trains, chemical installations, power generation, food and dairy processing are typical.

Base materials used in this market range from high quality un- & low alloyed steel to stainless steel and nickel alloys.

For decades we have been developing high quality welding consumables in combination with unique welding equipment. The knowledge gained from our R&D and application centers around the world allow us to offer you welding solutions that can improve quality & safety, reduce cost and increase speed.

A good example is the Surface Tension Transfer ® (STT) welding process which offer all the above when it comes to rootpass welding in un- and low alloyed steel as well as in stainless steel and nickel alloy pipe. Welding speeds up to 3-4 times faster than conventional TIG welding are feasible. After completing the rootpass Lincoln Electric can offer several efficient ways to fill the joint. One of the available processes is Pulse-MIG. Therefore Lincoln combined the STT and Pulse-MIG processes in the Powerwave 455-STT. Equipped with a dual feeder, the Powerwave 455-STT offers a unique time saving solution for every pipe-shop.

To be able to provide a total welding solution, we offer and extensive range of high quality Stick TIG, MIG, Subarc and flux cored consumables.

For a wide range of applications and basematerials the following consumables groups are available:

● Low alloyed creep resistant steels

● Standard 300 series stainless steels

● Duplex and superduplex stainless steels

● Fully austenitic stainless steels

● Nickel alloys

● Copper alloys

We are ready to assist you with technical support, provide training and supply high quality rugged & reliable consumables and equipment.
